Posted September 07, 2018 07:03:23The National Iranian Symphony Orchestra performed “Tikshik”, an original composition by the Iranian composer M.F. Safavi, for orchestra and orchestra instruments at the National Opera House on Monday, Sept. 7.

Grande’s song, “Tekshik,” which was performed on “American Idol” in 2013, had been written by Safavi.

She said that the performance was a tribute to the Iranian people.

Grande said in an interview with NBC News that she was inspired to write the song after meeting her father.

“I just wanted to show my dad that it’s not only my dad, it’s a lot of people who I grew up with,” she said.

Grande, who grew up in Irving, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, said she wrote the song with the help of her father and her mother, who were musicians.

“It was a really long time ago, and I’m so proud of my dad for coming up with the song,” she told NBC News.

Grande is scheduled to perform “Tigress” on the National Iran Symphony Orchestra’s tour in September. “

And so it’s just a huge honor to have the song performed for the National Orchestra,” she added.
